Connected apps and the Teamwork Graph
Rovo delivers search and chat powered by third-party SaaS applications alongside Atlassian tools, via a set of connectors. It builds on the Teamwork Graph, Atlassian's context graph, which connects knowledge across Jira, Confluence, GitHub and other systems. Within Jira, Rovo is presented as AI teammates that research, draft and take action across connected tools. The Atlassian Rovo MCP connects MCP clients such as Cursor and Claude Desktop directly to the Teamwork Graph.

Where Rovo is available

Rovo Dev
Rovo Dev is Atlassian's agentic AI for developers, positioned to reduce friction and automate busywork across software development. It generates code plans, turns Jira work items into code and reviews code. Rovo Dev works across Jira, VS Code, the CLI, Bitbucket and GitHub, supporting tasks such as running builds with natural language, validating pull requests, troubleshooting pipelines and automating code reviews. It is part of the Atlassian Software Collection alongside DX, Pipelines and Bitbucket, and agentic Bitbucket Pipelines tasks can be executed via Rovo.
