Host backups may run only once daily, stay on the same infrastructure as your site, and require technical help to restore. VaultPress Backup saves changes off-site in real time and gives you one-click restores, even when your host is unavailable.

Update your site credentials under Manage → Settings → Jetpack . If Jetpack can't contact the site after two attempts, you'll receive an email. See the site credentials guide for help.

Yes. VaultPress Backup can migrate your site to a new WordPress installation on any server. The Backup support guide explains the process.

Yes. Enter the server credentials for the new address so Jetpack can clone the site from the current host. Read the SSH, SFTP, and FTP credentials guide if you need help locating them.
